Go Mobile has announced an agreement with Turner Broadcasting System to offer CNN news on Go Mobile’s WAP site via Go Live! This is an ideal service for all Go Live! customers who wish to keep themselves informed about current events brought by the world’s leading news broadcaster.

Subscribers of CNNmobile, as this WAP news service is officially known, can keep themselves posted on news headlines and developing stories from around the globe, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. News stories from the award-winning CNN.com are presented in text format and include related colour pictures, depending on the display capabilities of the WAP handset.

Go Live! customers who wish to subscribe to CNNmobile can access Go Live! by visiting http://golive or http://wap.go.com.mt. A CNN icon on the Go Live! menu will also appear when logging on to Go Live! Subscription costs Lm1.50 for a 30-day period.

Standard WAP charges also apply while browsing the CNN site and using CNNmobile. Customers will be notified about the time window of their subscription on registering for the service.

This is the second time that Go Mobile and Turner Broadcasting System have collaborated together to provide a service of added value. In December 2004, the two communication companies signed an agreement that enabled Go Mobile to launch the Cartoon Network service, which has proved a success considering its wide take up by Go Live! customers.
