A man was critically injured in the small hours of yesterday morning after losing control of his motorcycle and slamming into the pavement.
The incident took place at 1pm in Tower Road in Sliema when the 38-year-old man was driving his motorcycle.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the man lost control of his bike and slammed into a pavement. He was rushed to St Luke’s Hospital where he was treated for the serious injuries he had sustained, especially to the head and neck.
Duty magistrate Michael Mallia was informed about the case. He appointed various court experts to assist him with the magisterial inquiry. Sliema district police are investigating.
