Kellogg’s has supported fun days packed with sports activities at San Gwann primary school. Three events were organised for the kindergarten section, for Years 1 to 3 students and for students attending Years 4 to 6 together with their parents, respectively.

The aim of these fun days was to show students the benefits of healthy living and physical fitness through practical examples. Kellogg’s amicable Frosties character, Tony the Tiger, paid a surprise visit to the school and distributed a mixed selection of Kellogg’s cereal bars to everyone.

Throughout the fun days, which were coordinated by Jennifer Mangani, the children were divided into teams. All the games involved teamwork, intended to instil in the children the importance of working together. Apart from enjoying these days and understanding the importance of physical exercise and teamwork, children learnt that being healthy is fun.

“The kids love it. The fun days are a great way to show them the importance not only of an active lifestyle but of a balanced diet to keep them happy and health,” said Mrs Mangani.

Kellogg’s cereal bars are fortified with vitamins and minerals and come in different varieties to suit all tastes.
