New General manager for the Hilton Malta

Clement Hassid has been appointed as the new general manager of the Hilton Hotel in Malta.

With over 25 years experience in the hospitality and catering industry, particularly in the Mediterranean region, Egyptian-born Clement Hassid has been at the helm of a number of highly successful hotels as well as hotel-chain operations.

Having a strong background in hotel sales and marketing, for the past twenty years Mr Hassid has been general manager of some of the most prestigious hotels in the region such as the Dan Tel Aviv, The Sheraton Jerusalem Plaza, the Sheraton Tel Aviv, the Hilton Jerusalem Hotel and, more recently, the Hilton Izmir in Turkey.

Past chairman of the Jerusalem Hotel Association as well as the Israel Hotel Managers Association, among others, Clement Hassid has also been the recipient of a number of international awards, including the Hilton International Core Value Award which he received in 2003.

Proficient in six languages and counting innovation implementation as well as employee motivation as key areas of his expertise, Mr Hassid is optimistic about his latest appointment and is looking forward to his tenure as general manager of the Hilton in Malta.

“I’m really looking forward to knowing and feeling Malta and, of course, to my Maltese lessons!” he commented.
