British American Insurance Co. (Malta) Ltd, known as British American Life, has recently re-launched the Fixed100 – a single premium life insurance policy issued and underwritten by British American Life.

Fixed100 policyholders are guaranteed a first year reversionary bonus rate of 6.6 per cent on the net premium invested. From 1999 to 2004, British American Life has been able to maintain an average declared bonus rate of 5.83 per cent on all endowment policies, which represents one of the highest bonus payments paid by a local life insurance principle. A terminal bonus may also be paid on maturity of the policy.

Fixed100 invests in a life fund managed by British American Life, which in turn, invests in a wide variety of carefully selected instruments, including bonds, property and equities. The product offers the policyholder a life insurance cover together with a guarantee on the total capital sum invested if held till maturity.

British American Life guarantees the net amount of premium paid, together with all declared bonuses if held till maturity.
