Last month, the Falzon Group of Companies celebrated its 50th anniversary with a party held at the Grand Master’s Suite, Hilton.

The 900 guests were treated to a special exhibition depicting the growth and development of the Falzon Group over the past 50 years. This was complemented by an audio-visual presentation, giving guests a comprehensive view of the products and services offered by the group and taking a closer look at its facilities and operations.

The Falzon Group of Companies includes Falzon Service Station Limited, San Lucian Oil Company Limited, Waste Oils Company Limited, Hire & Transport Limited and the Falzon Group Marine Division.

In a brief speech, Joseph Falzon, managing director of the Falzon Group, thanked all the guests for attending and expressed his gratitude to the Group’s employees and to his family for their support and cooperation. Special tribute was paid to his father, the founder of the Falzon Group of Companies, Spiridione Falzon; “An exemplary father who instilled in his children the determination and courage to work and succeed.”

President Edward Fenech Adami was presented with a limited edition memento commemorating the group’s 50th anniversary by the co-founder of the group, Helen Falzon, in the presence of the Falzon Group of Companies board of directors and Maltapost officials.
