Last week Maltco Lotteries Ltd launched a new game of non-stop fun known as Quick KENO available through Maltco’s authorised agents.

The KENO game was first introduced in the state of Nevada, USA, in 1931. Eventually it spread to the rest of America, Australia and Europe.

Quick KENO is a game with pre-defined winnings, which is played using a field of numbers from one through to 80. Every five minutes, at pre-defined times, 20 winning numbers are randomly drawn from one to 80.

To participate, a player chooses from one up to 10 numbers and wins when some of one’s, selected numbers, or all match with the drawn numbers. The more numbers are matched the more the winning amount. The player decides how much to stake – one can choose to play from just 10c per column.

In the international scene, the popularity of Quick KENO is attributable to its potential for its entertainment value, a game whereby groups of friends can participate during their leisure time, while enjoying a drink or a meal in restaurants, pubs and cafes.

In the near future even Maltco Lotteries plans to offer Quick KENO through more similar establishments.
