Added Services at MIA

Malta Independent Sunday, 19 June 2005, 00:00 Last update: about 22 years ago

In its continuous efforts to provide quality service to its customers, Malta International Airport has introduced Internet access areas and luggage shrink-wrapping equipment inside the Check in Hall.

Two Internet café areas have been created at the Flitebite and Connections cafeterias and are being operated in collaboration with AT Catering, the concessionaire running both cafeterias.

MIA has also introduced luggage shrink-wrapping equipment prior to check-in, capable of sealing all types of luggage thus making it more safe and secure to travel.

The equipment can also be used for hygienic reasons like sealing other items such as children’s’ pushchairs.
