The first draw for a week’s complimentary accommodation for two has been held at the Kaptan Pizzeria, Pasta & Grill Restaurant, in Qawra.

The winners, Notary Dr A. and Therese Gatt, were given the choice of a week’s stay for two in any one of the thousands of international establishments featured in the brochure of RCI Travel. The Suncrest Hotel is a member of RCI, the world’s largest and most experienced vacation exchange company.

Participants in the draw were registered members of either the Accommodation Loyalty programme or the Food and Beverage Loyalty Frequency programme, who submitted copies of bills paid at any of the six outlets in the Suncrest Hotel, which were then translated into points. To enter the draw, members had to register 150 points or more in the period February to April 2005. They also had to answer two simple questions regarding facilities at the Suncrest Hotel.

During an introduction prior to the draw, Suncrest Hotel chief executive officer George Schembri thanked all the participants for their patronage, and pointed out that, through the scheme, the hotel was giving more value for money to their frequent clients. Consolation prizes were won by John Muscat of Rabat and Mrs A. Sciberras of Qawra.
