Minister Austin Gatt provided a list of the directorships in the companies under his ministry. However, the list of directors in publicly-quoted companies was not revealed, much to Joe Mizzi’s chagrin.
At Air Malta, chairman Lawrence Zammit receives Lm7,000 while directors Paul Bonello, Joe Fenech Conti, Euchar Mizzi, Michael Soler and Noel Radmilli get Lm1,500 and travel insurance.
At Casma Co Ltd, chairman Michael Debono gets Lm5,000, while members Mario Mizzi, John Busuttil and Harold Walls receive Lm900 each
At Enemalta, chairman Tancred Tabone gets Lm7,000, while G.W. Borg, J. Borg Manduca, E. Cachia Caruana, A. Abela, R. Soler, A. Ciantar and worker director A. Debono receive Lm1,500 each.
At Gozo Channel, chairman Maurice Zarb Adami gets Lm6,000, while directors Frank Xerri de Caro, John Rizzo Naudi, Sammy Rapa, Stephen Mercieca, and Marion Pace Axiaq receive Lm1,200 each while Victor Galea Pace gets Lm2,400.
At Interprint, chairman Alfred Mallia Milanes received Lm5,000 while directors Berta Sullivan, Claudia Taylor East, Robert Vella and Dennis Zammit got Lm900 each.
Kalaxlokk Construction Co Ltd has chairperson Harold Walls on Lm2,500 and directors Mario Mizzi and Michael Gonzi at Lm600 each.
Kordin Grain Terminal has Charles Demicoli at Lm5,000 with directors Paul Abela, Tony Agius, Edmond Gatt Baldacchino, Oliver Ellul, Albert Rutter and Raphael Toledo on Lm900 each.
Dr George Cassar receives a salary of Lm24,252 as chairman of the Libyan Arab Holding Company while Dr George Hyzler and Victor Vassallo as directors get Lm2,000 each.
At Malta Enterprise chairman Joseph Zammit Tabona gets Lm7,000, his deputy GW Borg gets Lm6,000 and the remaining – Vince Farrugia, John Magro, Prof. J. Bannister, Yvonne Pulis, Adrian Bajada and Reggie Fava get Lm1,500 each.
Dr Alex Mizzi gets Lm2,500 for his chairmanship of Malta Industrial Parks. Directors Simon Vella and Anton Borg get Lm600.
At Maltapost, chairman David Stellini gets Lm6,000, while directors Philip A. Tabone and Ian Pellicano get Lm1,000 each.
Major V. Ganado gets Lm6,000 as chairman of Malta Air Traffic Services Ltd while members M. Camilleri Kamsky, A. Tabone and Mrs K. Spiteri Bailey receive Lm1,200 each every year.
John Cassar White is the chairman of Malta Shipyards Ltd and receives a salary of Lm15,000 while George Borg, Sergio Vella, Austin Walker and Helga Ellul receive a package of Lm1,500.
Mark Portelli is the chairman of the Malta Freeport and gets Lm7,000 while directors Patrick Attard and Ruben Bonello get Lm1,500.
Ivan Falzon is also the chairman of Mimcol with a salary estimated at Lm15,234 while directors Tonio Portuguese and Stanley Portelli get paid Lm1,200 each.
The Malta National Laboratory gives its executive chairman Patrick Calleja Lm9,000.
Tancred Tabone was the chairman of Med. Offshore Bunkering Co Ltd with Lm5,000 a year while directors Renato Agius Muscat, Joseph Bugeja and Vivienne Galea Pace get Lm1,000 each.
AT PBS chairman Andrew Agius Muscat gets Lm7,000 a year while Michael Fenech, John Borg, Sylvia Sciberras and Michael Seychell get Lm1,500.
John Sullivan is the chairman of Tug Malta and, as such, receives Lm5,000 while directors Godwin Xerri, Carmen Psaila, George Grech, Nicholas Baldacchino, Joseph Bugeja and Charles Zammit each get Lm900 a year.
In a similar reply, it transpired that Marisa Micallef receives Lm7,000 as honoraria, plus Lm1,540 hospitality allowance and Lm80 child care allowance every month.
