Malta Independent Friday, 1 July 2005, 00:00 Last update: about 11 years ago

The Fortizza Pizzeria has re-opened its doors for diners who enjoy dining out by the sea during the balmy summer evenings. Operated by Food Chain Holdings Ltd, a subsidiary of Simonds Farsons Cisk Group, the casual diner is open daily from 6pm to midnight.

Seating around 200 diners, Fortizza Pizzeria is offering tasty new additions to its menu. Apart from a wide variety of Italian classic pizzas, it is introducing fresh Italian FINI tortellini smothered with mushroom sauce, penne all’amatriciana and bavette with Bolognaise sauce. In addition, young children can choose from a kid’s menu.

Fortizza Pizzeria Marketing Executive Marco Debono said: “Fortizza Pizzeria is an ideal choice for an outdoor meal with family or group of friends. Apart from being good value for money, we offer excellent service in a relaxed environment under the stars!”

A fortress building, Fortizza Pizzeria is situated in Tower Road, Sliema. The pizzeria is set in the terrace behind the Fortizza and facing the Mediterranean.

The entrance is through the side pathway, close to the entrance to the Preluna Hotel Beach Club.
