Montaigne Investment Corporation – a corporate finance company with offices in Ireland, Malta, Spain, USA and Switzerland – held their first year AGM in Dublin’s prestigious Merrion Hotel. Net earnings worldwide for Montaigne and its subsidiaries during their first year of business totalled €1,181,000.00.
To celebrate a very successful first year of operations Montaigne threw a spectacular anniversary party in the world famous Ice Bar in The Four Seasons Hotel in Dublin.
This high profile event was attended by Ireland’s top businesspeople and was honoured by the presence of Mr Richard Muscat, Maltese Ambassador to the Republic of Ireland, and Commissioner Dr Jaime H. Cremona, president of the Maltese Association of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta and chairman of Montaigne Investment Corporation.
The Malta office is the latest addition to Montaigne’s international offices. It is housed in Portomaso Tower, and was built up over the last six months. The full compliment of Montaigne’s Portomaso staff travelled to Ireland for this auspicious occasion.
Pat Austin, CEO and chairman of Montaigne, took the opportunity to thank his staff for their loyal service and efforts to make the first year such a success and gave special thanks to his Maltese staff for making the effort to attend the event in Ireland. “We are ecstatic about the success of our first year operations. We are hoping now that the infrastructure in Malta is completed we can focus on this emerging market and we are looking forward to continued success in Malta.”
