Bank of Valletta donated a collection of books to the community library of the Marsa local council. BOV Marsa manager, Richard Dimech, presented the books to Francis Debono, Marsa mayor during a visit he paid to the regional library.

Presenting the books, Mr Dimech said, “At Bank of Valletta we are committed towards supporting the communities in which we operate. At a local level, we seek to be involved within our community beyond the provision of added value financial services and seek to participate in cultural and social life”.

He added that this donation of a collection of books to the Marsa community library underlines BOV’s commitment and shows in practice how the bank seeks to support initiatives that help in the development of a better community.

Mr Debono thanked Bank of Valletta for its donation and said “The purpose of opening this library at the premises of the Marsa local Council is to encourage more people to read and to develop their knowledge further. This collection donated by BOV will enhance our library of books and help us provide a better service to the Marsa community,” concluded Mr Debono.
