Alain Guillaumier has recently been appointed director of legal affairs for Montaigne Investment Corporation, the Dublin based financial services company that this year opened an office in Portomaso Tower.

Alain Guillaumier graduated Doctor of Law at the University of Malta, is a Bachelor in Legal and Humanistic Studies (Sociology), and holds a Diploma of Public Notary in Malta. Prior to graduation Alain also spent some time studying Italian Constitutional Law and Roman Law at the University of Perugia.

Following graduation Alain worked in the tax section of Price Waterhouse Cooper in Malta. Alain was responsible for dealing with tax issues relating both to corporate and private clients. Additionally Alain’s role comprised corporate management for trusts and international trading companies and the provision of corporate finance advice to both Maltese and international companies.

Dr Guillaumier has also worked at the legal offices of Ganado and Associates advocates in Malta prior to his appointment with Montaigne Investment Corporation.
