Sonia Montebello from Floriana is the winner of the brand new Toyota Yaris, Ms Montebello drove off in her new car after winning a competition organised by 89.7 Bay in collaboration with the motoring TV show Paq Paq and Michael Debono Limited, agents for Toyota in Malta.

The new Toyota Yaris Special Edition with air-conditioning offers drivers exclusive colour-keyed interior trim, colour-keyed bumpers with black integrated mouldings, colour-keyed door handles, metallic radiator grille, power steering, a two speaker radio / cassette player, ABS with electronic brake force distribution, driver’s passenger and side airbag, three-point seat belts on all seats, a transponder key engine immobiliser and 13-inch steel wheels with full wheelcaps as standard.

In order to win this car, viewers of the recent series of Paq Paq were asked to tune in to the Bay Breakfast Show, presented by Jonathan Abel. Each week a listener had the opportunity to answer a question about the previous edition of Paq Paq.

Fifteen listeners took part in the final, held at Le Meridien Phoenicia Hotel, with Ms Montebello emerging as the winner of the new Yaris, which is Toyota’s best selling car in Malta.

Sonia was obviously delighted with her win as she had already been thinking of changing her old and unreliable car. She said “I had never in my wildest dreams ever thought I would be lucky enough to ever own such a wonderful car as a Toyota Yaris.”
