Malta Independent Wednesday, 20 July 2005, 00:00 Last update: about 13 years ago

Razzett tal-Hbiberija will be inaugurating three new multi-sensory rooms today. As final preparations for the opening of this new state of the art facility were underway, HSBC Cares For Children Fund chairman, Catherine Gonzi, visited Razzett tal-Hbiberija. There, she presented the first installment of the Fund’s sponsorship for one of the rooms to Razzett tal-Hbiberija CEO, Nathan Farrugia.

HSBC Cares For Children Fund is covering the cost of setting up and running the “Soft Play Room” which will be used by those who attend Razzett’s winter and summer programmes as well as individual children with disabilities.

The rooms will be used to offer specialised therapeutic services to different children and adults with severe sensory and intellectual impairments as well as those with physical disabilities, those suffering from particular health problems and psychological distress. These rooms also assist the self development of users.
