The Hotel Juliani in St Julian’s has been featured in the Italian hotel design magazine DHD, which carries extensive articles and photographic essays on the interior design of hotels around the world. DHD is published in Milan on a quarterly basis.

The DHD feature describes how the Hotel Juliani project, by interior designer Pippa Toledo and architect David Vassallo, has managed to successfully combine the old with the new, without damaging existing ambient qualities.

“The sense of freshness has been highlighted throughout the hotel, by the use of colours which refer to the waves of the sea… the colour scheme has been selected to create a relaxing environment,” it said.
