New BOV Lottery linked to SMS mobile phone top-up

Customers who make use of the BOV Mobile Top-Up service will automatically participate in a new lottery giving them the possibility of winning back their money, Bank of Valletta announced today. This new lottery is the latest promotion being launched by BOV in its campaign to offer added value to its customers.

The BOV Mobile Top-Up service, launched in June, provides a straightforward and efficient way through which customers can top-up their mobile phone account by simply sending an SMS. The service is available for both local mobile service providers “Go Mobile” and “Vodafone”.

This service is available not only in Malta but also in all countries where the customer’s mobile service provider has roaming arrangements.

The actual process to top up the mobile phone is very straightforward. This involves sending an SMS on 50611905 for an Lm5 top-up, 50611910 for a Lm10 top-up or 50611920 for a Lm20 top-up (Vodafone subscribers only).

The new BOV lottery will run up to 31 October. Subscribers of the BOV Mobile Phone Top-Up Service will automatically have a stake in the lottery for every top-up made during the lottery period. There will be two lottery draws with the first one being held at the end of September, and the second one in the first week of November. For each draw, 10 winners will get the equivalent of their top-up amount back. Terms and Conditions apply.

To register for the BOV Mobile Top-Up Service customers can simply visit any BOV branch in Malta and Gozo. Alternatively, existing BOV 24x7 subscribers can apply through Internet Banking.

The BOV Mobile Top-Up service is accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
