The Ghaqda Persuni Neqsin mis-Smiegh has received a Lm2,000 donation from the HSBC Cares For Children Fund.
The funds will be used by the association to cover the costs of providing a sign language interpreter as well as other educational initiatives for young students with hearing difficulties.
The donation was presented to the association’s president, Ms Dorianne Bezzina by HSBC Cares For Children Fund chairperson, Mrs Catherine Gonzi.
