A jury and televote decided that 11-year old Alina Eremia would be Romania’s representative at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Alina Eremia will travel to Hasselt, Belgium in November to represent her country with her song Turai!

Alina was present in Malta a few weeks ago to take part in the second edition of the Golden Cross International Singing Festival, which was held at the Sir Temi Zammit Hall, University of Malta.

Alina was awarded the first place in Category B and was also guest singer at the pre-festival show, which was held in Xlendi Bay.

The organising board of the Golden Cross International Singing Festival sent their congratulations to Alina and her team and wish her success for the coming contest of next November.

In the meantime the organisers of the Golden Cross Festival are working so that the third edition of next year will be divided in two sections, junior section for children aged from eight to 15 years and the adult section from 16 to 30 years.
