The National Youth Council (KNZ) greeted all youths as it commemorated the 41st anniversary since Malta became an independent state.

The council recognises independence as a crucial factor in the modernisation of our economy. This economic advancement led to the membership of Malta in the European Union and hence to a prosperous and stable future.

The National Youth Council noted that in the light of the nation’s membership in the Union, the Maltese managed to hold on to their unique identity obtained thanks to the Independence.
