The new Carmelite church in Santa Venera and the volleyball club at Fleur de Lys have both received support from HSBC Birkirkara area. The donation and sponsorship were presented by HSBC Birkirkara area director, Anthony Buttigieg together with Carmen Busuttil, manager of HSBC’s branch in Santa Venera.

The funds were presented to Fr Raymond Calleja, prior of the Carmelite community in Santa Venera and to Tony Attard, vice-president of the Fleur de Lys volleyball club, respectively.
