Vodafone Malta Ltd has launched the new mobile connect combo card which supports both GPRS and Wi-Fi. The launch of the card makes Vodafone the only company in Malta to offer a total wireless laptop solution. Additionally, the new card is equipped with Vodafone dashboard software, which simplifies connecting for customers.

“The Vodafone mobile connect combo card is the latest technological development to be made available to our customers. They can now work effectively from their laptop or notebook from anywhere they choose. With rapid connection speeds and short download times via Wi-Fi or GPRS, Vodafone customers can now send and receive large email attachments, use applications, access their company network safely and securely, and browse the Internet,” said Vodafone Malta’s business segment marketing manager Daniela Bagnaschi.

Vodafone is also currently offering a Lm15 discount to customers who purchase a new Vodafone mobile connect combo card and who connect to a Vodafone mobile connect tariff plan on the Everyday Plan or higher. Using the Vodafone mobile connect combo card enables customers to receive calls while still remaining connected. The card also provides seamless switching so the customer is automatically switched to the best connectivity available. The Vodafone dashboard software also automatically checks for and incorporates any software updates so the customer does not have to. Finally, customers can also choose the speed of connection, depending on their needs.

“The Vodafone mobile connect combo is an ideal office solution offering great flexibility. The introduction of the Vodafone dashboard software also offers a number of other useful facilities, including the ability to read and send and receive email on the move, as well as to open attachments such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Users can also send and receive SMS or instant messages from his or her laptop. This Vodafone software will even inform the customer if a Wi-Fi Hotspot is available,” continued Ms Bagnaschi.

More information on the facilities offered by the Vodafone Mobile Connect Combo Card can be obtained from the website www.vodafone.com.mt or by calling Vodafone Customer Service on 247 from a Vodafone or 2148-2820 from any other phone.
