Moving Forward Tech

Malta Independent Sunday, 2 October 2005, 00:00 Last update: about 13 years ago

Back in 1997, Forward Tech started operating from a small outlet in Attard under the name Electron Computers. Between 2000 and 2001 a re-branding process was adopted and Forward Tech was created.

Since then, the business has flourished leading the company to another ambitious move – Forward Tech’s official opening of new premises in Birkirkara Bypass last month.

Forward Tech has now moved to larger premises to meet growing demand for equipment and services from its expanding customer base.

Besides more space for clutter-free product displays and demonstrations, the premises offers ample room for customers to view the merchandise that is of interest to them in comfort.

Not only is the shop now equipped with permanent displays of the latest in computer hardware, software and computer peripherals, but another floor to service computers on the spot was also created.

The servicing department, also known as PC Clinic, now offers customers the chance to view their computers being checked and fixed there and then by Forward Tech’s specialised computer technicians – “Repairs while you wait”.

Unless computers brought in for servicing have serious problems, which would require a number of days to be fixed, customers can wait while technicians finish servicing their computer and take it back home with them – this is a much sought after service.

Forward Tech have not only invested in a larger choice of brands, but stock quantities have also been increased. Customers needing specific parts and components will surely find them available any day, therefore the waiting time will be reduced.

Forward Tech’s new shop is on a major road with easy access from different localities and ample parking space for shoppers. The car park is free of charge and one is sure to find a space at any time of the day.
