John Kolasa, general manager of the world renowned Château Rauzan-Segla, will be visiting Malta next month. Wands Ltd, importer of the Bordeaux wine Chateau Rauzan-Segla, will be hosting a wine-tasting event on 12 November to celebrate this special occasion with wine lovers in Malta.

Born in Scotland, John Kolasa settled in Bordeaux in 1971, after having taught French and graphic design in London. During his stay in Bordeaux, he started exploring his passion for wines, studied oenology and subsequently managed properties of the Janoueix family in Saint Emilion and Pomerol.

Mr Kolasa later moved on to undertake the position of

commercial manager at the

prestigious Château Latour until 1994, after which he took over the reins of Château Rauzan-Segla in Margaux.
