We asked you to send in your favourite picture of a young person hugging an elderly person. It was a tough choice for our judges who had to choose from the many entries we received. After much deliberation, the judges made their final decision, so here are the winners:

First place winner of Fuji FinePix A345 digital camera goes to Mariella Cassar from Attard. Everyone agreed that this tender picture is so sweet, and really embodies the meaning of the theme ‘hug’.

Second place goes to Emma Attard Baldacchino from Swieqi who loves her nannu so much that she wrote us a letter about him.

Third place goes to Mrs Catherine Attard from Mellieha.

Everyone fell in love with this picture which evokes another era. The simple clothes of the grandmother and the rustic background are a complete contrast to the new generation represented by the little boy

The second and third places win disposable Fuji cameras.
