A new growth-oriented fund, the Equity Growth Fund, has been launched by HSBC Fund Management (Malta) Ltd. “Maltese investors have been looking for opportunities to achieve higher rates of return. This new fund will offer prospective investors an excellent opportunity to share in the potential of both local and international equity markets. The Malta Stock Exchange index has this year gained an impressive 33 per cent, and many major overseas equity indices have experienced double digit growth year. The fund’s investment objectives aim to optimise maximum total return by actively seeking opportunities in these markets as and when they arise. The fund manager will draw attention on our own local knowledge of the Maltese equity market as well as on the international expertise of the HSBC Group for international equity markets,” said managing director at HSBC Fund Management (Malta) Limited, Mr Charles Azzopardi.

With an initial investment of just Lm500 and no initial fee to enter the Equity Growth Fund, customers have a good opportunity to participate in a larger and diversified pool of equity investments.
