Walter Micallef and Friends are preparing to launch a new CD with 14 original songs, in terms of Maltese lyrics, melody and composition.

It is being recorded by six musicians, Eric Wadge, Pawlu Camilleri, Renzo Spiteri, Albert Garzia, Jes Psaila and Walter Micallef.

This is Walter’s second CD. The first was released in 2003 entitled M’jien xejn (“I am nothing”).

Partly supported by The Malta Council for Culture and the Arts, the CD is already attracting interest from foreign concert organisers.

The CD is being recorded at Wave Studio in Floriana under the direction of engineer Manolito Galea. Adrian Mamo designed the CD sleeve.
