Shawn James, marketing student from Gzira will be jetting off to Lisbon in Portugal to attend the MTV Europe Music Awards on Thursday. His close friend Maria will be joining him for the trip.

Shawn says he’s really looking forward to partying at the MTV Awards and seeing his favourite artists on stage.

Live performances at this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards include Madonna, Gorillaz, Akon, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Robbie Williams, Pussycat Dolls, Shakira and The Black Eyed Peas among others.

The prize includes flights, accommodation in a four-star hotel , tickets to the MTV awards show and a half-day sight-seeing tour of Lisbon.
