The 28 October marked the 100th anniversary of the Swedish multinational, Trelleborg. Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Malta held celebrations at designated times throughout the day so that all employees could join in the anniversary commemorations. Trelleborg Group was founded in 1905 by a young entrepreneur named Henry Dunker. The group grew rapidly and today it is a globally-active industrial group with over 130 manufacturing sites worldwide.

In his speech, Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Malta managing director Martin Hignett said that the Malta plant is proud to be part of Trelleborg Group. The local company shares the same core foundations as its parent company – it is a polymer specialist with over 40 years of experience in producing premium quality elastomeric O Rings. The Malta company produces and sells over one billion O Rings each year to a global customer base.

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions is a leading global supplier of high-quality precision seals for industrial applications. The business area has annual sales of approximately SEK 5,000 M and some 5,700 employees.
