Vodafone Malta Ltd has announced that its Vodafone Travel Promise is now available on a further two networks, Vodafone Czech Republic and Connex Romania. These two new additions bring the total number of networks offering the Vodafone Travel Promise to Maltese customers to 21.

Through the Vodafone Travel Promise, customers can call home while travelling abroad at local rates plus a connection charge of just 50 cents. For the same connection fee, Vodafone customers will be able to receive calls at no additional cost.

“The Vodafone Travel Promise demonstrates Vodafone Malta’s commitment to ensuring clarity on voice roaming pricing and to giving its customers the freedom to talk to their loved ones more often and for longer when abroad,” said Vodafone Malta’s business segment marketing manager Maria Vella-Galea.

She continued: “Since its launch, thousands of Vodafone Malta customers have benefited from savings of up to 60 per cent through the Vodafone Travel Promise. In the coming months more networks will be added ensuring that an even greater number of customers will benefit.”

The Vodafone Travel Promise is applicable on selected networks in Albania, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Holland, the UK, Japan, New Zealand and Australia as well as Vodafone affiliates, Proximus in Belgium, Connex in Romania, El Madar in Libya, Tunisie Telecom in Tunisia, SFR in France and Swisscom in Switzerland. Terms and conditions apply to activating the Vodafone Travel Promise, that is free of charge and can be carried out by calling customer- care on 247 from a Vodafone number or 2148-2820 from any other line.
