The Human Resources Department of Maltapost plc recently organised a short training course in Time and Project Management for its senior staff.
The course was aimed at enabling participants to familiarise themselves with time- management skills, with a view to using their time in the most effective way possible.
The course was delivered by managing consultant of Resource Productivity Consulting Services, David Dingli. Mr Dingli, who attended a presentation of certificates to participants by Maltapost chairman David Stellini at the end of the course, expressed his satisfaction at the extremely high level of participation.
The project-management module provided participants with a strong awareness of the appropriate tools and techniques for planning, organising, scheduling and controlling of projects, and the critical people-management skills for achieving skills.
A total of 32 line, middle and senior management staff attended this training course, which was held at the Maltapost Training Centre.
A work study training course was also organised for the project re-engineering employees. The work study training sessions enabled participants to acquaint themselves with the principles and practices of method study and work measurement.
