A total of 15 HSBC staff members and their partners took part in the Zurrieq International Half (Malta) Marathon.

The half marathon took place on International World Run Day, on Sunday.

The HSBC runners also raised funds for Caritas Malta.

Four HSBC employees ran the full half marathon on an individual basis. These were: Sarah Meli, Jonathan Balzan, Dennis Francalanza and Andre` Catania.

The remaining 11 participants ran the half marathon on a shared basis, as two separate teams.

These two teams consisted of: David Demarco, Roland Saliba, Wilfred Saliba and Erika Zammit, and a second team including, Shaun Wallis, Martin Wilkins, Martin Peplow, Richard Reid, John Hackett, Paula Hackett and Mark Sims.
