Sara Grech Launches new departments

Sara Grech Limited, Malta’s leading real estate agency, is ensuring that it will retain its leading position by gaining strategic advantage through organisational design.

Sara Grech says that “structure does not follow strategy – it IS strategy”.

The opening of two new departments, namely the Commercial Department and the Supreme Homes Department, will be headed by Paul H. Sammut and Vicky Spiteri respectively.

Both consultants have undergone a six-month training programme that comprised a number of interactive workshops and modern market techniques. The training course was developed and facilitated by David Dingli, managing consultant of Resource Productivity Consulting Services.

Sara Grech recalls when she first started the business and reminds herself how it was then. “It took a lot of hard work and determination on my part to ‘break in’, especially with it being a particularly male orientated industry. It was the belief in what I had set out to do that made me rise above the challenges I came across.

“I based my strategy by approaching the ‘people question’ using two guiding principles when setting up the company. The first is to organise staff by designing the company to suit the talent you have and the second is to find the best people to address the key challenges facing the organisation. Therefore our organisation is designed to exploit what is unique in the changing markets and the development of our people.”
