Emirates is offering value-for- money holiday packages for the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) for visitors from around the world, including Maltese travellers. With prices starting from Lm22 per person per night sharing, these exceptional packages are valid from the 4 January until 4 February.

Dubai is hosting its 11th annual DSF, the world’s showpiece entertainment and shopping extravaganza, in January 2006. The 32 days- long festivities for the whole family are inspired by the theme – “One World, One Family, One Festival”

The DSF has over the years grown phenomenally to become the biggest shopping festival in the world, and DSF 2006 will be even bigger and better than ever before. As if the incredible shopping bargains are not enough, the event hosts the world’s biggest gold raffle, the world’s richest luxury car raffle and many other opportunities for the thousands of visitors to win fantastic prizes. The entire city takes on a carnival atmosphere, with plenty of entertainment and things to do for the entire family.

The packages provide Maltese customers with a choice of accommodation from a range of 21 selected properties to suit all pockets, and are for a minimum stay of three nights with the option to extend.

The price also includes breakfast, transfers between Dubai International Airport and the hotel by chauffeur-driven car and personalised meet-and-assist upon arrival. These DSF 2006 packages are available to all Emirates passengers, regardless of the class of travel.

“Dubai Shopping Festival 2006 will provide a rich line-up of events and activities. Our customers can now avail themselves of these special packages and fly to Dubai on one of Emirates state-of-the-art Airbus 330-200. They may also extend their holiday by visiting Cyprus on their way to or from Dubai,” said Emirates’ Manager for Malta and Cyprus, Paul Fleri Soler.

Emirates is a major sponsor of the DSF, and flies in visitors from 75 destinations worldwide, including Malta. The airline is now flying from Dubai to Malta via Larnaca in Cyprus, four times a week.
