The Main Street shopping complex is this week celebrating the first anniversary since its opening in December 2004. Located right in the centre of Paola square, on the site that was the old Cinema’s, Main Street has quickly become a shopping hot spot in the south of the island.

To celebrate this milestone and bring in the holiday mood, Main Street is running a promotion in conjunction with all its retail outlets.

All customers spending a minimum of Lm5 will be given an opportunity to win some fantastic Christmas prizes.

Tomorrow, Main Street will also be hosting an exhibition by the Old Motors Club.

This event will be held between 10am and 1pm and is sure to go down a treat with all those who share a passion for vintage or classic cars.

Being yet another project by the Big Bon Group, the complex is built to deliver to patrons a heightened shopping experience with all possible creature comforts. Spread over six floors, the complex boasts 2,500 square metres of shopping facilities housing both local and international brands such as Pull & Bear, Accessorize, Hot Couture, Pedigree toy shop, Sterling Jewellers, Terranova, Women’s secret, Bossini, Tenda, Gajet, Melitanet, Presto, Candles & More and Heavenscent.

The complex completes the shopping experience with a number of on-site entertainment venues that include the popular Speranza Bar & Bistro and a large arcade area catering to enthusiasts of all ages.
