HSBC has revamped the range of products offered to university graduates. The new set of offers are available to all graduates who have completed their tertiary education within the past four years. Offers include discounts on loans to start a business or to continue studying, as well as benefits on credit cards and home loans.

“The first few years after university are an important period in life during which young people begin to build their careers, and getting the finance one needs to set up a new business or to purchase the first home can be a challenge. Through this newly revamped graduates package, HSBC is providing young people with the opportunity to move ahead in life without facing unnecessary financial difficulties,” said HSBC’s head of personal financial services, John B Hackett.

The new HSBC Graduates Package includes no processing fees and discounted interest rates on start up loans, further studies loans and flexicredit loans. The maximum repayment period on start up loans and further studies loans has now been extended to seven years, including the option of an initial two year moratorium. Graduates can also benefit from no processing fees on classic and high value home loans as well as a repayment moratorium for the first two years. Other benefits include a fee free credit card for the first two years and a fee-free Gold Account for the first year.
