Maltacom Billing

Malta Independent Saturday, 10 December 2005, 00:00 Last update: about 11 years ago

Maltacom informs customers that bills due in December will be mailed out in the coming days.

The company is making every effort to step up its billing process and ensure that bills do not get caught up in the Christmas post upsurge.

Postal delays due to the Christmas-time rush would result in late delivery of bills. On the contrary, early mailing of these bills will ensure that customers have a better opportunity to take advantage of early payment discounts.

“We are determined that our customers will not be exposed to the risk of incurring late payment penalties because of inevitable postal delays during the Christmas rush” said a spokesman for the company.

“Our advice to customers, especially those who pay by cheque through the post, is to settle their bills as early as possible so as to make sure that payment reaches Maltacom before the due date,” a spokesman said.

There are various convenient methods of payment:

• By cheque sent by post together with the remittance slip in the postage-paid envelope provided.

• By debit or credit card on condition that the customer fills in the details indicated at the back of the remittance slip ie the credit/debit card number; expiry date; issuing bank and signature and posts the filled-in slip to Maltacom. Credit/ debit card payment is accepted at any Maltacom branch office.

Visa and MasterCard credit cards are also accepted

• Over the internet through the Web4me! service and BOV or HSBC internet banking

• At Maltacom’s One Shop Centre, St Francis Ravelin, Floriana and branch offices situated in:

• Saviour Psaila Street, B’Kara;

• St Joseph High Street, Hamrun;

• Antoine de Paule Square, Paola;

• 28B, South Street, Valletta

• Republic Street, Victoria, Gozo

•At APS Bank and Lombard’s Bank

• Alternative outlets – Maltapost Offices, PayZone Naxxar and local councils as periodically published in the local media.

We encourage customers to go through the guidelines printed at the back of the telephone bill itself and opt for the most efficient method, keeping in mind that electronic methods of settling their bills could carry a further rebate!
