Maltanet Christmas Offers ‘a great success’

Malta Independent Tuesday, 20 December 2005, 00:00 Last update: about 12 years ago

Maltanet’s Christmas offers have been a resounding success in the first weeks of December. Maltanet launched a series of special offers on both their always-on and their pay-per-use broadband services, giving new subscribers the opportunity to double their download limit.

In addition, subscribers can also benefit from a Lm50 voucher on any HP notebook from Forestals, free anti-virus software, a free wireless modem and free activation and use of modem.

On the other hand, new subscribers to their Breeze pay-per-use services get 150 hours free as well as free activation and use of modem. Maltanet Commercial Services manager Gordon Dimech said: “The Christmas offers got off to a great start. During the festive season many have chosen to give a broadband connection as a Christmas present.

“This is undoubtedly the best set of offers that has been made available locally and has contributed to the overwhelming success achieved.

“Moreover, dial-up users are also opting to upgrade to broadband by taking up maltanet’s Breeze pay-per-use offer which, in most cases, works out cheaper than their existing dial-up subscription while giving them a connection almost ten times faster.”

Maltanet’s Christmas offers will remain available up to the end of December and are available from their offices in Balzan and from the various resellers in Malta and Gozo.

Maltanet is a brand of DataStream Ltd and a member of the

Maltacom Group.
