Ernst & Young is one of the leading audit and business advisory firms in Malta and provides a wide range of services including assurance and advisory services. “Our professionals offer clients the insight and services that no business can do without – auditing, accounting, advice, tax compliance and transaction advisory services,” a company statement said.

Using our global methodologies and tools, our professionals speak the same language, regardless of their location, it added

Besides striving to be true to our motto – “Quality in Everything We Do,” – Ernst & Young believe that supporting people in need is of paramount importance. In line with this, the firm has opted to support the efforts of the organisation Faces. This organisation encourages young men and women from third world countries to continue studying so as to improve their lot in life.

This charitable organisation was set up in 2003 and is made up of a young group of volunteers who travel regularly to third world countries to help the underprivileged. The organisation spends many months fundraising so as to have sufficient funds to carry out the necessary work.

The volunteers have worked with the Franciscan Sisters in Lavington, Holy Cross Parish in Nakuru, Sisters of Mother Teresa in Ethiopia and India.

The group is currently working on two projects in Kenya, namely, the building of an orphanage in Nakuru for the homeless children of St Joseph the Worker. These children will also benefit from a sponsorship programme which aims to cover their food, medication and school fees. The organisation also sponsors study programmes for a number of youths from Gatina.

For further information about this organisation, kindly contact the volunteers on [email protected].
