BOV executive Chris Busuttil Leaver, who has now reached retirement age, has been presented with a memento as an acknowledgement of his long and dedicated service to the bank.

The presentation was made at the bank’s head office by chief officer operations Igino Xuereb.

Thanking Mr Busuttil Leaver for his service, Mr Xuereb reiterated the importance that Bank of Valletta places on its human resources.

“For each and every organisation, its people, alongside its customers and its reputation, are three of its most important assets that do not appear on the balance sheet. Indeed, for any organisation to be successful, it has to ensure that its people are constantly motivated because this leads to a better service and ultimately to more satisfied customers,” he said.

“Bank of Valletta’s employees recognise the importance of teamwork and have always strived to bring forward the bank’s interests, thus leading to its success. We thank Chris Busuttil Leaver for his long service to the bank, for his commitment and his energy and for his contribution towards the success of Bank of Valletta.”

Mr Busuttil Leaver worked at various BOV branches and departments. His last post, prior to reaching retirement age, was that of executive head of BOV’s main branch in Republic Street, Valletta.
