Christine Tellus, best student in the hotel operations course at the Institute of Tourism Studies, was the recipient of this year’s MHRA trophy during graduation day at ITS.

Miss Tellus was one of 69 students who graduated at diploma level earlier this month.

MHRA president, Justin Zammit Tabona congratulated Miss Tellus for being nominated best student in hotel operations during her period at ITS, and wished her every success in her career.

He also wished all the other graduates a bright and successful career in the tourism industry.

He said it was important for the industry to have well- trained personnel to ensure the highest standards and quality of service.

The MHRA, he said, is committed to supporting all initiatives taken at ITS.

Mr Zammit Tabona forms part of the Board of Governors of ITS.
