Burger King Crew members incentive awards

Every year, during the summer months, all Burger King crew members are invited to join the Staff Incentive Scheme. The scheme is sponsored by Coca-Cola and runs from June to September. This year, the prizes awarded were: Burger King Valletta Restaurant (Best Overall Restaurant), Julie Mercieca (Best Overall Crew Member), and three runners-up from each Burger King restaurants: Tiziana Borg (Burger King, Valletta), Keith Brincat (Burger King, Paceville) and Lara Bellizzi (Burger King, Sliema).

Operations manager for Burger King, Alex Mifsud commented: “We give utmost attention to our main asset, human resources. The investment in training and safety of our employees is second to none. It is ongoing, in order for us to keep giving excellent service and great food quality from our restaurants to our esteemed customers visiting us regularly.”

This year’s prizes consisted of a boat party to the best overall restaurant, a computer bundle worth Lm700 to the Best Overall Crew Member, and Lm100 fashionwear vouchers to each runner-up, from their preferred fashion outlet.

Also attending the presentation were assistant operations manager – Burger King, Ms Nathalie Xuereb Saydon, marketing executive – General Soft Drinks Ltd, Mr Edward Borg and marketing executive – Burger King, Mr Marco Debono, together with all three restaurant managers, Mr Johann Gatt (Burger King, Paceville), Mr. Stephen Campbell (Burger King, Sliema) and Mr. Joe Magro (Burger King, Valletta).

Burger King restaurants are situated in Sliema, Valletta and Paceville. Burger King is operated in Malta by Food Chain (Holdings) Limited, a fully-owned subsidiary company of Simonds Farsons Cisk plc.
