Go mobile is currently the only operator in Malta to offer a working wireless office solution for mobile devices such as PDAs and Smart Phones. Moreover, the company can also boast of the fact that it is Malta’s sole provider of EDGE, thus giving users of its wireless office application faster download and upload speeds.

Go mobile’s service is called “Office on the go.” And it is truly so. Thanks to this service, corporate clients can benefit from secure, real-time wireless synchronisation between their mobile devices and their office server. Therefore, clients can access their office e-mail, calendar, contacts and to-do lists securely from anywhere on their mobile device by means of “Office on the go.”

This service works on a selection of mobile devices and PDAs and can be set up on a company network for a fixed monthly fee per user, giving unlimited use (with no setup fee). “Office on the go” works for both Lotus Domino and Microsoft Exchange software.

“This service is ideal as a personal information management tool. It allows for two-way synchronisation with a PC or office server. Therefore, corporate customers can stay updated and continue sending and receiving emails, setting up calendar appointments and adding a contact to their list from wherever they are in Malta.

Thanks to EDGE, which is currently Malta’s fastest wireless network, our customers can benefit from speeds which are around four to five times faster than GPRS,” said senior executive, sales and marketing, Peter Gauci.
