Maltanet employees recently participated in a number of training sessions based around Dr Spencer Johnson’s parable titled “Who moved my cheese?”

This is a brief tale of two mice and two humans who live in a maze and one day are faced with change – someone moves their cheese. This story is about adjusting attitudes toward change in life, especially at work and learning to anticipate it.

Commenting about the training, Maltanet HR executive Dorianne Bianco Mallia said: “Through the training programme, Maltanet employees could better appreciate that change is inevitable and can be a blessing or a curse, depending on one’s perspective. The message – “Who moved my cheese?” – is that all can come to see it as a blessing, if they understand the nature of change and the role it plays in their lives and at work. This attitude was of particular importance to Maltanet employees following the merger with DataStream Ltd last month.”
