Bank of Valletta has donated a collection of books to the regional library managed by Ghaxaq local council. The books were presented by BOV Zejtun branch manager Albert Pace to Ghaxaq mayor Joe M. Abdilla.

Presenting the books, Mr Pace said that BOV branches played an active role in the communities in which they operated, not only by providing financial services in support of customers but also by participating in the cultural and social life of the community. “BOV is delighted to make this donation of books to Ghaxaq local council regional library. Our contribution will help enrich the library’s collection, directly benefiting all those who make use of it. Such donations are part of BOV’s Community Investment Programme in the area of education,” Mr Pace concluded.

Mr Abdilla thanked Bank of Valletta for their kind donation and said that the collection of books will help make the regional library more attractive, to the benefit of the residents.
