The Physics Department from the Science Faculty of the University of Malta and the Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IAA) are organising a talk entitled Gravity, Gauge Theory and Quantum Physics on Wednesday at 6pm at the Erin Serracino Inglott Hall of the University of Malta.

The talk will be delivered by Mr Ivan Debono MSc, who will first introduce the Newtonian and Einstein’s general relativity concepts of gravity and then proceed to discuss Gauge Theory Gravity (GTG), other subjects related to GTG and a few experiments which cover the quantum/gravitation domain.

Mr Debono received his secondary education at St Aloysius College in Birkirkara and graduated BSc(Hons) and MSc from the University of Malta in 2003 and 2005 respectively.

Anyone who is interested is invited to attend, free of charge.
