Thomas Bajada, who has been elected as one of the Labour Party MEPs, has said that this is a moment to move away from political tribalism and political colours speak more as a united nation.
Bajada was elected on the Labour Party ticket, along with Alex Agius Saliba and Daniel Attard.
"When united, we can achieve more." His main priority is to see EU laws reflect the realities of the Maltese across the board, he said.
Asked about the shrinking gap between the PL and PN, he said that the most important thing is to talk about what the people need, about people's stories. Let's talk about what we can do for the Maltese and Gozitans, about how we can aspire for the future of our children.
