The winners of the kissing marathon and other finalists were presented with their prizes at Bay Street.

Louis Agius and Samantha Lautier Agius, who broke their own kissing record with a 10-hour long kiss and earned a place in Malta’s Book of Records, won an SMS cruise along the coast of Italy on the liner SuperStar Libra.

The second-placed couple, whose kiss lasted for eight hours, are the Gozitan couple Noemi and Ivan Attard. They won a trip to Cyprus courtesy of Emirates.

Annabelle Cauchi and George Mercieca placed third and won an overnight stay at the Bay Street Hotel.

The couples received a cuddly soft toy from Pedigree Toyshop.

This year’s event was held in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Fund and of five-year-old Francesca Falzon, who suffers from this life-threatening disease.
