Middlesea Valletta Life Assurance Company Ltd (MSV) recently launched PET (Policy Enquiry Tool), a new service available to its intermediaries. The service is an internet-based facility that enables MSV intermediaries to view policy details at the touch of a button.
PET provides real-time policy information indicating, for example, whether the premium payments are up-to-date, the investment value of the policy, the current sum insured and other useful information that clients may require.
In its current form PET is available only to intermediaries. MSV believes that this new tool will enable both the company and its intermediaries to provide an improved service to their mutual customers who will therefore also benefit from PET. In its drive to continue enhancing its customer focus, MSV sees this new service as an additional measure to achieve a higher level of customer satisfaction to both its intermediaries and
policyholders. Intermediaries who attended a demonstration of PET have welcomed this new service enthusiastically and MSV is pleased with the feedback received.
The name PET was chosen from a number of suggestions submitted by intermediaries in a competition that was open to MSV intermediaries and staff. Ambrose Muscat, from Epic Financial Services, who submitted the winning entry, won a dinner for two at Dolce Vita restaurant.
